Principal's Message

Welcome to Altruria Elementary School! My name is Marva Johnson, and it is my pleasure to serve as principal at this outstanding school. Our school is part of the Bartlett City Schools (BCS) district led by Dr. David A. Stephens. For the 4th year in a row, BCS was named as one of the top workplaces in the Mid-South.  BCS was also named a "Best for All District" by Governor Bill Lee on February 11th, 2022, and recognized for strategic spending on student achievement. Altruria Elementary School takes great pride in the use of funds for individually and holistically meeting the needs of ALL our students. Altruria Elementary is known as "The School with Heart ♥️." Administrators, teachers, and staff go above and beyond to ensure our students know how much they are cared for and loved.

Our mission at Altruria is to provide a quality education for ALL by meeting the needs of every Altruria Tiger.
