Dear Altruria parents,
Welcome to 2023-2024 school year at Altruria Elementary and the Bartlett City Schools System! It is indeed a pleasure to serve you as the principal of Altruria Elementary School. On behalf of the administrators, faculty, and staff, I personally welcome each of you. A very special welcome is extended to our new parents and students. I encourage you to become an active part of Altruria Elementary School. We want and welcome you to get involved in our school!! You are vital to the success of our school!
Our PTO is among the nest in Bartlett City Schools. The PTO Board has always served the needs of our students in an exceptional manner. The enthusiasm, commitment, and dedication shown by the PTO Board members are greatly appreciated. Their contributions continue to enhance the educational goals, school activities, and purposes of our school.
I am so proud and honored to serve you as principal. I have genuinely enjoyed working with our students. Our staff is very excited that you chose to share your child(ren) with us. All personnel in the school and at central office have made a commitment to upholding educational excellence in the Bartlett City Schools. With the implementation of the newly revised TN standards, our students will be challenged even more. Our goal is to provide them with an exceptional education. We are fully accredited by AdvancED/Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and have a School Improvement Plan that focuses on our specific school needs and strengths.
Altruria offers clubs for students to participate in. You will receive more information on how to enroll your child to participate in these clubs. Be aware that other activities and enrichment are also provided for students. All students receive intervention activities at least four days a week as well. Our PTO promotes other child advocate activities and programs throughout the year.
At Altruria, your child(ren) will always remain most important to us. We are here to serve you!! The faculty and staff of Altruria continue to pledge our best efforts to serve the students of the school and to work with the parents towards achieving our educational goals. All of us are important parts of a team that must work together for our children. My door is open to each of you. Please do not ever hesitate to call on me if I can serve you in any way.
WE WILL HAVE AN OUTSTANDING YEAR. TOGETHER WE CAN ACCOMPLISH ANYTHING!!!
