Good morning! We are so excited that the ice has melted and students are back in the building! A couple of updates for this week:

Parent/teacher conferences have been rescheduled for this Thursday (2/25) from 3:00pm - 6:00pm. Teachers will be reaching out.

Friday (2/26) ALL students will be virtual for the day as BCS is offering the COVID-19 vaccine to all employees. Teachers will be reaching out regarding schedules.

Students will return their devices on Monday, March 1st. On Monday send the devices, chargers, and all materials to school with your child.

Dear Altruria Family,
For virtual learning which will begin on tomorrow, here is information vital for everyone. Teachers will post for parents & students by 5:00pm today. They will be ready for class tomorrow
(Virtual learning) for ALL students on Wednesday. See below:
1. Remind parents of the BCS Virtual Academy resource page (https://www.bartlettschools.org/apps/pages/BCSVirtualAcademy) and the help desk number (202-2023).
2. All teachers will post their assignments, necessary links, etc. in Curve by 5:00 pm Tuesday. This will give parents and students necessary information and time to plan.
Suggested schedules are posted below. Teachers will send adjusted schedules to their specific parents and students.

Grades PS-2
8:00-8:30 am Zoom for a morning warm-up/check in and mark attendance.
8:30-9:30 am Early Literacy
9:30-10:30 am Early Math
10:30-11:00 am Science/Social Studies
11:00-11:30 am Fine Arts/Special Education Services/Parent Check-in
11:30 am-3:00 pm Lunch, physical activity, independent learning, technology exploration
Grades 3-5
8:00-8:30 am Zoom for a morning warm-up/check in and mark attendance.
8:30-9:30 am ELA - Instruction is a blend of knowledge building content and
independent reading.
9:30-10:30 am Math – Instruction is a blend of task-based work and independent
numeracy practice.
10:30-11:00 am Science/Social Studies
11:00-11:30 am Fine Arts/Special Education Services/Parent Check-in
11:30 am-3:00 pm Lunch, physical activity, independent learning, technology exploration, assignments.
Students being served under an Individual Education Plan (IEP) or a 504 plan, who receive English Learner (EL) services or tiered interventions
would have that time scheduled into their day as indicated by need.
