We had a fun filled early, surprise birthday party for Ms. Johnson! It is getting harder to surprise her each year, so our amazing friend from Local Memphis Live, Amy Speropoulos came and helped us out! Ms. Johnson, we sure hope you enjoyed your special day... You deserve it!

Congratulations to our very own Ms. Johnson on being named Bartlett City Schools' Principal of the Year! You have earned this, and we are so proud of you!

We are also to announce that Altruria Elementary School has been awarded Reward School status, placing us in the top 5 percent of schools in the state for performance. Superintendent Dr. David Stephens shared, “Being an Exemplary district and having a Reward School is a compliment to the dedicated work that our students, teachers, staff, and parents do each day. We are extremely proud of all their efforts.”
