Hi, I am Morgan Crafton and I will be teaching kindergarten at Altruria this year! I know this year is going to be the best yet because it’s lucky number 7 teaching year for me! I am so excited to be teaching in Bartlett City Schools because I grew up in them! I went to Ellendale Elementary in K and 1st grade. Rivercrest was built and I was the first class ever to attend in 2nd grade! I went to Shadowlawn (now the 9th grade academy) in middle school. I graduated from Bolton High School in 2009 and the University of Memphis in 2013. My certifications include k-6 general education, k-12 special education, physical education, and family and consumer sciences. My very first teaching job was at Southwind Elementary where I taught kindergarten for two years. The past four years I taught at Drummonds Elementary. I taught for three years in first grade and one year in PE. I am married to my husband Joey and we have a son named Henry Tate. He is 13 months old and the love of our lives! I can’t wait for him to go to school with me someday at Altruria. My hobbies include reading, spending time outdoors, shopping, and chasing a baby around.

This year is going to be amazing! Thank you for being so welcoming and making me feel right at home! Altruria is the place for me! There’s no place I’d rather B!

Mrs. McEwen is not new to the Altruria family, but will be moving from RTI to classroom teacher, and we couldn't be more excited!

Mrs. McEwen was born and raised in Memphis. She graduated from the University of Memphis in 2012 with a dual degree in K-6 Elementary education and K-12 special education. She's been married to her husband for 8 years and they have two kids and a yorkie. Before Mrs. McEwen was a teacher, she taught ballet, tap, and jazz for 7 years! She is very excited to be joining the Altruria Elementary family this year!

Kerry Radcliffe is very excited to be a new member of the Altruria Elementary School faculty this year, teaching K-5 Music alongside Mrs. Spriggs. Originally from Franklin, Tennessee, she holds a Bachelor’s of Music Education from the University of Tennessee at Martin, where she graduated summa cum laude and as a University Scholar. After five years of teaching in McNairy County,m School’s, a 2018 NAMM Foundation nominated “Best Community for Music Education,” Kerry is joining the Altruria Elementary staff this year. Kerry brings a passion for music education to her work, firmly believing that the benefits of music education go far beyond learning how to read music. She is very excited to be joining the incredible team of music educators in Bartlett City Schools! Kerry lives in Bartlett with her husband, Micaiah, who is also a music educator, and their two dogs, Zildjian and Winry.
