CLEVER:
Students have access to a variety of resources, including the MyON digital library, through their BCS Clever account. Each student receives a unique login password to this program at the beginning of the school year.
SOCIAL STUDIES WEEKLY:
Using their Clever account, students can also access digital copies of our Social Studies curriculum, Social Studies Weekly. Although students will receive a paper copy of a Social Studies newspaper each week, the same content can be accessed digitally in the following manner:
After signing into Clever, students will select the Studies Weekly icon. Next, scroll down and select the Tennessee Fourth Grade Studies Weekly icon. Finally select the week that matches our current unit of study, which can be found in the weekly class newsletter.
The digital version of each Social Studies Weekly newspaper includes bonus sources and videos that are a wonderful way for your child to review and explore Social Studies content at home.
PARENT RESOURCES: Each of the sites listed below offers strategies to encourage student academic development at home and a variety of activities for parents and children to complete together. These sites are also a great resource for finding grade-appropriate and interesting books for your child.
