Hello! I am Tricia Engle, and I am so excited to be joining the community here at Altruria Elementary. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, curling up with a good book, playing with my sweet dog Charlie, and savoring a hot cup of coffee. I’m pretty sure coffee is the secret to being a successful adult. In 2010, I earned my Master of Arts in Teaching degree from the University of Memphis (Go Tigers!). Previously, I taught 4th grade, as well as 5th, 6th, and 7th grade language arts. I have a passion for developing life-long readers and a sense of student ownership in our classroom. I absolutely love 4th grade. I am convinced that 4th graders are the best students in the world, and I am eager to meet my class for the coming school year at Altruria!
